The traditional market Mercat d’Olivar, which is situated in the centre of the Balearic island of Majorca, could reduce its cleaning costs by 25 % and the costs for technical equipment such as forklifts and hoisting platforms by 33% owing to the services of Expense Reduction Analysts. These cost savings were achieved through a thorough analysis of the actual cost structure and a tender process that finally led to a new contract with the incumbent supplier who guaranteed a better quality for a lower price.
