CDRL SA, well known for its Coccodrillo brand, has significantly reduced its costs for packaging expenses and merchant card fees. The company that designs, produces and distributes children and youth clothing relied on the services of Expense Reduction Analysts and achieved savings up to 35 %.

„We agreed to cooperate in several areas. The results surprised us positively. The success-fee payment method and the experience in various cost categories were important for us. We are pleased with the cooperation and we are going to expand it to other cost areas“ - said Tomasz Przybyła, deputy CEO of CDRL SA.

Yearly packaging expenses at CDRL SA were 422 thousand PLN. CDRL SA pays further special attention to high quality packaging. Therefore, Jerzy Kusina, packaging expert at Expense Reduction Analysts, focused on quality first and then on cost reduction.

The expenses for packaging could be reduced by optimising the purchasing process and by coming to a new agreement with the incumbent supplier. With the professional approach and years of experience Expense Reduction Analysts were able to obtain cost savings of more than 33 thousand PLN in the first three quarters. Average savings level was 12,7%.

Expense Reduction Analysts have also implemented another non-standard project for CDRL SA - reduction of merchant card fees. Andrzej Matyja together with Expense Reduction Analysts partner Hans Decker from Germany established the goal of obtaining sustainable expenses without compromising the level of services and maintenance. The project brought significant cost reduction in payment terminal leasing fees and data transfer rates. Expense Reduction Analysts were able to obtain the savings without replacing the incumbent service provider. The savings were 15 thousand PLN quarterly or 35,7% on average.
